My new reading addiction: The Twilight Series

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him-and I didn't know how dominant that part might be-that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

I bought this book last night and as of 10AM this morning I was already on page 260! I even got a full 8 hours of sleep. It's amazingly addicting, and considering I have finals in 2 weeks I have added incentive to keep on reading it hahaha.

I never grew out of the young adult book section and Twilight fulfills all my vampire romance danger fantasies. I even get to indulge in super human capabilites like mind reading and Hulk-like strength.

What's more exciting is knowing that when I finish this one there are 3 more parts! That's right, this book is part of a series with the sequels titled New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. Also number 5 is currently in the works titled Midnight Sun. I haven't read a series since Shopaholic years ago. I would order the boxed set online to save me money but I'm just afraid I wouldn't get it fast enough. I don't think I'd be able to wait a day in between and I've already texted my reader friends telling them they have to get this book. Stephanie Meyer should totally add me to the payroll.

Oh, and at the movie theatre the other day I saw a preview of the Twilight movie coming soon!!!!!!! That reminds me I still need to go watch the Secret Life of Bees.

Haha I blogged about this series awhile ago aswell..I see you've become addicted like many of us have.. Isn't Edward perfect?! ;p

Btw sorry to have to break it to you but Midnight Sun, which is Twilight told from Edward's perspective, is not being published. Someone leaked the half finished uneditied version on the internet and I guess Meyer got pissed and said on her site she has no plans of finishing it..but the good thing is you can download whats been leaked stright from her site.

Anywaays enjoy the books!

Kinzi, why have you never informed me of this series?????????? I finished #1 in 2 days and I bought the second but I'm trying to resist trying to read it because I'm getting no studyin done. I'm def. planning on watching it.

Lost, it'll be a smart idea to not read it right now but I personally can never resist a juicy book.

Hamza, we should visit anne rice's house together

Goofy, they areeeeeeeee!

Selma, yea I read about that on the site but it didn't say specifically that she won't continue it....right? Yes Edward is too perfect and it's probably bad for me to become so obsessed because now I just want an edward

Inmotion, oh come on now the chick is 17....we were all dumb and insecure at 17!!!!

not like her I wasn't.

I had my eyes set on uni and didn't even think about men .. forget that ..

i wouldn't in a million years think i wasn't on equal terms with a guy because of his beauty or looks or money or status .. he's a locky sob if he's with me ..

hey maybe that's my problem?

I saw the movie this Friday and it was a good watch! One of my friends told me the book is even better, which is the case really in almost all movies based on novels!
