So where has Asoom been all this time????

I wish I can say something more unique and original than to say I've been busy, but the truth is...I've been busy!

I've realized blogging is like working out. When you've been regularly blogging you feel like it's part of what makes your days feel balanced. Once you've gotten out of the habit it's so hard to get back on track.

In case you're wondering, alhamdulilah I'm doing well and I've been discreetly checking up on you from time to time via my google reader.

I'm thinking about starting this super secret anonymous blog about relationships, and love, and meeting guys, the balance between haraam and halaal, the lessons, the experiences, the jerks and the assholes, the complicated ones, etc...basicallly something like the muslim girl version of sex and the city.

Whadayathink???

Welcome back!

Yes blogging is like exercise, unfortunately! I see you're reading the Life of Pi. Great book!

Re the anonymous blog... Sure, make it, but keep this blog too.

Asoooooom :)
Missed your posts. You shouldn't feel that blogging is like a workout. You don't have to do it daily, or every three days. Think of blogging as a away to relieve the stress. Write whenever you feel like writing not because you have to.

KJ........thanks! oh you about that book...OMG I was enjoying reading it but it's kind of a slow read and I had to renew it twice from the library until I wasn't allowed to renew anymore so I never finished it :( I'm reading the butterfly mosque now which I'm in love with!!!!

Jaraad, thank you :) you see when I started blogging it was a stress reliever. I had a lot more free time on my hands. However it got to a point where i started feeling like blogging became stressful. There was some unwanted drama on the blogosphere from people that have too much time on their hands and need to get a hobby plus I would just feel guilty when I didn't blog as often or as regular and it started feeling like a chore...

Organica, Rand, and Sisi.....I would love to but I'm so hesitant. Maybe I'll just make it a private thing and selectively send people links....

YES!! Anonymous blogging is grrrreat!!

What's up with the ..."the jerks and the assholes, the complicated ones..." These are known to be adjectives levied on males! If you do start the blog, please be impartial! (asking a woman to be impartial is kind of ironic, don't you think?!) :)

Haitham, welcome!

mab3oos, Yo those adjectives don't stem from any stereotypes but rather from my personal experiences the past couple of years. I'm putting a hold on that blog idea though for a little bit....to much on my plate these days!
